Help

The fixes for the things that most often go wrong before you have a club, and how to reach the people running the pilot.

  1. Give it a minute, then check spam or junk. The email comes from CornerMile at noreply@cornermile.co.uk.
  2. Using a work or university address? Those mail systems sometimes hold sign-in emails in a quarantine you can't see from your inbox. A personal address is the quickest fix; otherwise ask your IT team to release mail from cornermile.co.uk.
  3. Request another from the page that asked for it — sign in for venue teams and leaders, or the club's join page for runners. One email a minute.
  4. Check the address you typed. A venue account uses the work email you signed up with; a runner account uses the email you joined with.
  1. Signing in lasts for months in the browser you sign in with. If a fresh tab asks you to sign in, the sign-in happened somewhere else: tapping the button in the email from the Gmail or Outlook app opens the link in that app's own built-in browser, which Safari and Chrome cannot see.
  2. On a phone, open the club page or cornermile.co.uk in Safari or Chrome first, ask for a code, then type the six-digit code from the email there. On a laptop, use the browser you normally use, not the one your mail program happens to open.
  3. Apple Mail on iPhone opens links in real Safari, so tapping the button there is fine. Nothing is lost either way: a run you were joining is kept for 30 minutes.
  1. Every signed-in page has Sign out at the top: under your venue's name in the management header, and in the top bar of club, rewards and setup pages. On the public pages, Sign in is replaced by Your account and Sign out once you are signed in.
  2. Signing out ends the session in that browser only. You stay signed in on your other devices, and anything you have saved is untouched.
  3. To switch accounts, sign out and sign in again with the other email address. On a shared till or a borrowed phone, sign out when you have finished.
  1. The pilot covers L postcodes: the letter L followed by a number, such as L1 or L39. Leeds (LS), Lancaster (LA), Leicester (LE), Lincoln (LN) and Luton (LU) begin with an L too, so the number after the letter is what decides it.
  2. It is the venue's own postcode that counts, not your home or head office. Spacing and capitals make no difference.
  3. If your venue is genuinely in the pilot area and its postcode still says otherwise, email us at the address below with the venue name and postcode. We can record a one-off exception with the reason written down. Outside the area, the launch list is the right place.
  1. A person at CornerMile checks every new venue before its page goes live, usually within a day. You get an email when it is in the queue and another when it is live.
  2. There is nothing you need to do while you wait. Your venue, club, terms and runs can all be edited from your dashboard in the meantime.
  3. If it has been longer than a working day and you have had no email, write to the address below with the venue name.
  1. The directory lists every club whose venue has been checked and published. During the Liverpool pilot that list is short and grows as venues join.
  2. Search by club name, venue or area. If nothing matches, check again in a week or two, or ask your local venue whether they have heard of CornerMile.
  3. Would rather be told? Leave your email and the place you'd run in and we'll write when a club opens there. Searching the directory never signs you up to anything — only that form does, and every email has a one-click unsubscribe.

Still stuck?

Email security@cornermile.co.uk, the monitored address during the pilot. You do not need an account or a club to write. Say which page you were on and what happened, and you are talking directly to the people building it.

Something worrying at a run, rather than a setup problem? Every club page has a report a concern link that reaches the venue and CornerMile together — use that instead, so the venue sees it too.
