Your venue's run club, up and running
CornerMile gives pubs, bars, cafés, bakeries, taprooms and other hospitality venues the tools to launch and run a run club: members, weekly runs, QR check-in and rewards that turn verified attendance into repeat footfall. Everything on this page is live today.
Why host a run club
- Weekly regulars, not one-off traffic
- A run club meets at the same time every week. Runners who come back week after week stop being visitors and start being regulars, and regulars are what a venue is built on.
- Runners bring company
- Friends and family who come along but do not run wait at the venue while the run is out: a parent with the kids, the non-running half of a couple, ordering while they wait. Supporters spend for the whole run and the runners spend when it returns. One of them runs. Both of them come.
- Proof, not vibes
- After each run, two quick questions (how many stayed, and was it worthwhile?) become numbers your own staff recorded. That is the sentence you can take to the brewery, your accountant or us.
How it works
- 1
Set up in 15 minutes
Guided setup takes you from an empty account to a live club page: venue, club, terms reviewed and published, your first weekly run and a reward, finished with a printable QR poster.
- 2
Put the poster where people gather
Runners scan it and join with an email address and a six-digit code. No app for anyone, and no password to invent.
- 3
Runs keep themselves running
Set the weekly run once and future weeks appear automatically. Change a time, move the meeting point or cancel a week, and everyone who RSVP'd is emailed automatically.
- 4
Check in with one scan
Attendance is verified and timestamped. Choose scan-out-and-back-in and your check-in sheet shows who is still out on the run.
- 5
Rewards bring them back through the door
Post-run discounts, active-member perks and milestone rewards trigger on verified attendance. Staff redeem a voucher in one tap, and owners and managers can reverse a mistake.
- 6
Watch the numbers
Members, verified attendance, repeat-attendance rate and redemptions. Four numbers that show whether the club is paying its way in footfall.
You do not have to lead it yourself
Clubs can start without a leader, with the venue hosting and CornerMile handling the admin. When you want someone to front the club, tick "We'd like help finding a run leader or influencer" in Settings and review applications from coaches, influencers and keen runners. You can offer standing perks such as a post-run coffee tab: funded by your venue, shown at the bar and recorded by your staff.
